Good staple
I love the classic look of the sock, but I find them to be a little long on the shin! I wish they still had grips for the young ones (age 5).

Not good
These socks are not the quality I have grown to expect from Carter's. We are frequent shoppers and these are a hard miss. While the colors are nice, the actual socks are thin and horribly tight. My 5 year old would be considered average if not a little below average for her height/weight and they are uncomfortably tight around her ankles, whether they are rolled down or kept up. They leave marks, itch once taken off, etc. Very disappointing.

socks shrink and No grippers on older sizes
I feel so conflicted about this product. The socks are well made, a good thickness, have grippers on the bottom (some of them) and I LOVE the scalloped top, however, they shrink considerably which is so disappointing because they are really expensive normally. I was willing to stick with them and rebuy the next size up because they are on massive sale right now, but the grippers are not available on the 4-7 yr old sizes. I don't know why manufacturers think this age group doesn't need grippers on the bottom. They still run around, spin and are just as zany as before. Losing the gripper option is just not a possibility and makes these socks unsafe. ugh, now I'm back on the search again. Please fix this issue at the very least!!!!

So tight!
I’ve bought Carter’s socks for years and ordered a pack of these for my younger daughter. She loves the colors but they are SOOO tight at the top. They are seriously like compression socks from the ankle up and very tall. Thankfully I had sized up and she has thin legs, but I was hoping she would be able to get more than a season out of them and I don’t think they will be comfortable for long. Please go back to the old style Carter’s!

So tight!!
What happened to the carters quality I could always rely on? These socks feel so stiff. My daughter used to love the softness of carters. To make matters worse, the top of the sock left a bruise on her calf. They stayed so tight throughout her school day, not even a full day and that happened. Carters is not cheap, if they keep it up with raising prices and lowering the quality of school they will start to lose customers.

Perfect socks.
I’ve been buying this socks for years. It is the only socks my child wears without complaining. It’s so comfortable and lasts forever. It’s the perfect socks to wear with school uniforms.
