I wanted something that wasn't to bulky (fabric is not thick) to carry while carrying him during drop off but big enough to hold a change of clothes and diapers for the day and still have room for extra items. I do wish it had extra internal pockets other than the front pouch, but that's a personal preference. Still supper cute and have gotten various compliments on it!
